Q. When is the pool open for guests?
A. Our intimate, secluded pool is heated and open for your enjoyment 24 hours a day. Pool service for drinks and light fare is available between 10 AM and 6 PM daily.

Q. What Spa Services are available for guests?
A. We offer a number of spa services in the comfort of your suite. Our team of experienced therapists can customize a massage or facial to your needs; manicures and pedicures are also available.

Q. Does The Tides offer any beach amenities?
A. Located just across Ocean Drive, guests will find our private beach area. Each guest room is entitled to two lounge chairs, an umbrella and fresh towels. Our team of chefs can also prepare a "Beach Box" complete with a gourmet sandwich, sides and beverages for a take-away meal.

A. A classic example of the art deco design movement of the 1930s, The Tides South Beach was built in 1936 by master architect L. Murray Dixon as an elegant hotel with a streamlined, minimalist style.

Q. What is the easiest way to get to The Tides from the airport?
A. Our team of personal assistants is happy to arrange private transportation to and from the airport. Taxis are also available for a flat rate of $35.

Q. What time is check-in and check-out?
A. Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out is at noon. We cannot guarantee early check-in, but as with all special requests we will always note it in your reservation. If we have the availability, and a guest is not scheduled to check-in to your room, we can offer late check-out. Please note there is a half-day rate (half of your current rate) for staying in your room until 6 PM, and checking out after 6 PM warrants a full day rate (based on the rate you are paying). Again, late check-out is only based on availability and with confirmation from your Personal Assistant.

A. Currently, Meat Market, a new steakhouse concept on the pedestrian-only Lincoln Road, is becoming a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Its sexy and glamorous interior complements a menu of the finest meat and fish with inventive sides and sauces. Also, at Sra. Martinez in the Design District, famed chef Michelle Bernstein offers her contemporary take on Spanish tapas in a warm, "lounge-y" atmosphere.
